The Paoli Wildcats Basketball League (PWBL) has decided to enter girls select basketball teams in the Inter-County Basketball Association (ICBA) for the 2024-2025 season. We will be seeking to field 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams.
The ICBA will consist of a 12 game regular season, six games will be played on the weekdays while the other six games will be played on either a Saturday or Sunday. The PWBL will attempt to schedule all weekday games at home to cut down on travel time during the school week. Practice for the “select” teams will begin in early November with the first game to be held in December. The ICBA regular season will run through mid-February with a single elimination playoff to follow. If your child has a conflict between a regular season PWBL game and an ICBA game, the PWBL regular season game takes priority.
In order to participate in ICBA 5th or 6th grade teams your daughter must register for and play in the regular Wildcats league. For 7th and 8th graders, girls who make the ICBA team have the option of only playing ICBA. This option exists because we realize many of these same girls are playing for their middle school team.
